What is Countr?+
Countr is a voice-first shop management app. You can run your Khata, sales, inventory and customers by speaking, or use the normal manual screens whenever you prefer.
What can I do with my voice?+
You can give supported commands such as adding credit to a customer's Khata, recording a sale, adding stock or asking for today's sales, in natural language.
Do I have to use voice?+
No. Countr works with voice or manual controls. You can switch between them depending on what is faster for the moment.
Does Countr work without internet?+
Countr is designed with an offline-first approach, so your essential shop workflow can keep moving when connectivity is limited. Changes are saved locally and ready to sync when you are connected.
What kind of shops is Countr for?+
Countr is made for everyday shops such as grocery, fashion, electronics and general stores.
What is a khata app?+
A khata app is the digital version of a paper bahi khata or udhar register. It records what customers owe you (udhar), what they have paid, and often connects to sales and stock. Countr adds voice, so you can make those entries by speaking.
How is Countr different from Khatabook or OkCredit?+
Khatabook, OkCredit and similar apps are well-known digital ledgers that are typically built around manual entry. Countr is built voice-first: you say what happened and it updates Khata, sales or stock, and the manual screens are still there. Is my shop data secure, and can I delete it?+
Countr is designed to use encrypted connections and protected storage for sensitive information on supported devices. You can request account and data deletion, subject to the Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

Can I use voice and manual controls together?+
Yes. Voice is a shortcut, not a restriction. You can switch between speaking and the normal app screens depending on what is faster at that moment.
What is the difference between a khata app and billing software?+
A khata app focuses on tracking credit (udhar) and payments with customers. Billing and accounting software focuses on invoices, GST and books. Countr starts from Khata, sales and stock at the counter and adds voice on top.
